Corey Green is a photographer with a degree from the Academy Of Art University in San Francisco. He currently works in the commercial photo industry in the Bay Area but has always had a strong passion for the natural world. Originally inspired as a child by the captivating imagery of wildlife in National Geographic magazines, he finds himself once more drawn to the beauty of the nature around him that may oftentimes be overlooked or taken for granted. While the grandiose scenes of trees, mountains and lakes tend to draw him in, it is often the smaller details like the lives of insects, fungus, and lichen that cause him to sit, examine, and ponder the mysteries of that small, yet vital world.
